Red Butte Rock Squirrel

After a mundane morning at Red Butte, I headed over to look at the new Millcreek library on Evergreen Ave. Looks like a nice structure and i'll have to pop in the next few days and browse the stacks. On my return home I saw a large black bird in a yard a few blocks west of the library. I thought it was a Raven at first, but it was difficult to identify because I was look into the mid-day sun. Took a shot of it and discovered it was actually a Crow. A good find, but not as exciting as finding a Raven in suburban Salt Lake county.
