Chaos

Wind-blown Magpie
Lazuli Bunting

Mourning Dove

California Quail
Between the wind and the multiple bus-loads of school-kids, it was tough going at Red Butte today, with a couple of exceptions. Got the first glimpse of Lazuli Buntings and briefly saw a pair of Green-tailed Towhee. We are right in the heart of birding season at this elevation so I hope the weather improves in the next couple of days so we can head out and find more birds!

When I got home, a pair of California Quail were present at the feeders along with a flock of House Sparrows and three squabbling Mourning Doves.
