Backyard Raptors

Black-chinned Hummingbird

California Quail -- A steadfast sentinel

Yellow Warbler
Had a great look at a Red-tailed Hawk circling high above the yard just as a Cooper's Hawk flew from east-to-west in search of a Quail or Scrub-jay. The Hawk might be the first from the yard. Earlier in the day Shelly and I did some birdwatching at Red Butte where Hummers and Yellow Warblers were sighted during a heavily visited, but otherwise perfect Saturday morning.
