Black-head Grosbeak on Cascade Trail
Shelly and I spent a long weekend in Teton/Yellowstone. Birding was slow. Windy conditions at Gray's on the way up and very few birds along the Cascade Trail. Yellowstone wasn't much better. However, highlights included the resident pair of Trumpeter Swans at Flat Creek. A Mountain Bluebird feeding its chick at Gros Ventre campground and Nighthawks flying along the river while we watched a couple of bull Moose feeding at dusk.
