Six Lesser-Goldfinch have been seen at the nyger feeder throughout the winter. I think it's an extended family since we had a nesting pair last year. Yesterday, we had a total of eight on the feeders, so they must have communicated to their friends that our yard is a good place for a free meal.

There was a FOY Cassin's Finch in the mix, but he didn't stay put long enough for a picture. I shot these from the truck.
