Wheeler Farm

Looking for something a little different, I headed over to Wheeler Farm for my daily walk and a little bird watching with hopes of spotting a Wood Duck. It was cold and the place mostly empty both of people and birds including Wood Ducks. Did see a flash of red from a Northern Flicker and it was the first positive sighting of the year for that species. I think I hear one in the morning around the house, but it's difficult to distinguish their call from the Starlings multi-themed chorus.
