UPDATE: no new sightings over the weekend.
A couple of Snowy Owls have been spotted in northern Utah this winter, the first on the Antelope Island Causeway, the second a few days after Christmas near Bear Lake. May be worth a visit if new reports trickle in.

Closer to home, our noisy pair of Western Scrub-Jays finally made an appearance in the yard. Amazing what a handful of peanuts will do. Also present, a pair of Lesser Goldfinch and a large covey of California Quail.
