Free food at the trough is a boon for the Chickadees, Juncos, Finches and other birds that visit those located at Red Butte Gardens, especially in winter. There appears to be a resident Cooper's Hawk which makes a visit to the buffet a hazardous one. Despite all the chaos brought on by the Hawk and a pair of scolding Jays, I did manage to photograph most of those present. I also picked up some nice audio of the Chickadees with the itouch. Oddly, this was my first look at a Scrub-jay this year.
