Cold Trail
Red Butte was mostly quiet this morning with the exception of a half-dozen Chickadees and House Finches at the feeders in the children's garden. A shy but noisy Black-billed Magpie watched me intensely as I navigated the snow-covered trail alongside Red Butte creek. Heard a couple of Towhee's along the way, but even the Juncos were absent.
