Could be a bumper crop in the yard this year. Recently observed male and female species include Western Scrub-Jay, Downy Woodpecker, California Quail, Mourning Dove, House Sparrow, House Finch and Lesser Goldfinch.
Update: add Spotted Towhee to this spring's list, just heard one calling in the yard.
