Quail Family

Hummingbirds are getting ready for their long migratory journey so they spend their day fighting each other for dominance over nectar sources. Red Butte Gardens was buzzing with activity from Broad-tailed, Black-chinned and especially Rufous hummers. There was a wedding the in Fragrance Garden where much of the hummer activity was located , so I walked around the Gardens a couple of times. Not very birdy. I did manage to get snaps of familiar Magpies and a Quail family.
