Sound of the Hawk

Hiked up to Twin Lakes from Silver Lake near Brighton. The birding highlights were a pair of Clark's Nutcrackers and a Stellar's Jay mimicking a hawk. We also saw deer and, briefly, a weasel. By the time we returned to Silver Lake, throngs of people had arrived to fish or stroll around the lake and we saw very little.
