Townsend's Solitaire

Okay, from here on in we'll call the "Pipeline Trail" the "Parley's Creek Trail" since it follows the creek up the hill. Birding was poor, but our real reason for the trip was to check out a reported Trumpeter Swan at Little Dell. No Swan, but the hike was good exercise and we were rewarded with three FOY birds; Mountain Chickadee, American Tree Sparrow and a two pairs of active and vocal Townsend's Solitaire spotted near the trailhead on are return.
